PRSSA has three divisions which are each devoted to a specific set of goals. Division VPs will often provide special opportunities to chapter members to assist with the division’s initiatives.


Our student-run agency is called FUSION. FUSION members receive hands-on experience working with real clients. We have worked with clients who have grown tremendously because of the work we completed for them. Past clients include Sprout Salad, Afro Deli and Be the Match on Campus (UMN).


The events division coordinates events for all chapter members. Events include agency/business visits, the annual winter trip and the annual Twin Cities Day of Tours.

Professional Development

The professional development division seeks to provide all chapter members with professional development opportunities. This is completed through coordinating guest speakers, planning networking nights and presenting weekly “PRo-Tips.” This division also oversees UMN PRSSA’s blog. Blog entries feature recaps of guest speakers, agency visits, professional development topics and classwork.


The communications division manages UMN PRSSA’s social media accounts. Follow us on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter!


The fundraising division coordinates fundraising efforts for our chapter. Fundraising events such as bake sales or professional headshots help fund members’ trips to PRSSA conferences and our annual winter trip.
